Almost always suggested by a photo Gary comes across, in the newspaper, online, of a friend, these are his most “realistic” drawings. But they are far from organized or geometric; all done free hand and often just pieces of what he’s found because his drawing has moved off the page, there is still some of his whimsy to be found here.
